Quite simply, the best Flash game I've played.

This is an amazing game. The controls are wonderful, the story is even better, and do NOT get me started on the amazing music.
The gameplay is simple, but unique enough to be intriguing. Also, you are AWESOME for using Z, X, and C, rather than A, S, and D, or X, C, and V, as others might do. The best keys to use with the arrow keys are definitely Z, X, and C.
I'm a little biased when it comes to the story. I freaking LOVE snails, which is quite honestly the reason I first played this game.
And the music. 8-bit music is (generally) awesome. You have taken it about 20 steps further. I REALLY want to download the music and put it on my iPod. I REALLY, REALLY do.
In short, this is an amazing, amazing game, and Newgrounds does not give me enough stars to rate this high enough..

Did not function properly

I am sorry to say that nothing that I could control or interact with appeared on-screen after I hit "Start".

Hey sournote103, so sorry that you could not play. There is an issue in some browsers that if more than one Flash is running (including ads), the game might not run properly. Please try playing the game at www.shmusicup.com without other Flash running. We are working hard to solve this problem, very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Might want to re-imagine your re-imagination.

I'll start off positive. The humor has not gone. You, sir, are a comedic genius.
Coding? Not so much.
Shoddy, shoddy platforming. Now, I haven't the faintest idea as to how to code a platformer in Flash, but I can do so with other programs, and let me tell you, it is VERY easy. There were too many glaring flaws in the platforming of this game to list.
Horrid controls. OH MY GOD. Many problems here. It would often lag for button pressing, so when I pressed a button (or stopped pressing a button) it would continue as if I had done no such thing. For a few seconds, which, in a platformer, is huge. Also, it would sometimes act as if I had hit a button I did not.
THE SPACE BAR. In LOST :The game: (Which, incidentally, made more sense than the show ;D) I had to mash the space bar four times in a row to transform. It then proceeded to screw me over again in BP :the game:.
Level design. The horrible, horrible level design. It was OK at first, then got marginal, then bad, then horrid. It got so bad in the second Appleture Science level that I had to QUIT. (Though I did enjoy watching Steve Jobs die repeatedly)
Icky graphics. Not a major complaint, but they looked a lot nicer the way they were. I did like the Order of the Stick-like Portal posters, though.

OVERVIEW:
GOOD
-Humor (Appleture science... Heh.)
BAD
-Graphics
VERY BAD
-Platforming
ABYSMAL
-Controls
GAME-BREAKING
-Space bar

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll have to go play the first two :game:s to wash the horrid memory of this game from my brain.

Cute but repetitive

It was VERY cute. VERY. (I guess I just have an incredibly warped sense of humor) It just didn't really hold my attention for very long. The guy tries to trick me into hitting space prematurely. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The same thing happens. Again and again. And again. If this game had a bit more variety to it, it would be very fun, but as is, you do the same thing too many times in a row.

Frustrating

This game annoyed me to no end. You could only move one color of anything during a level? Really? If it didn't reset your progress every time you changed the cursor, it would be a LOT better.
That said, I do see the value in the game. If the cursors weren't as ridiculous, this would be a great game.

One final note: I think you could also improve the game by making everything move a bit faster.

Cute, but short.

It was fun while it lasted, but the problem is that it didn't last very long at all. I'm hoping maybe we'll see a sequel where you attack multiple planets? Maybe with upgrades and the ability to purchase new things to throw? Just putting the idea out there.

NOT to be taken seriously

All right. There are some negative reviews for this thing. I disagree. People seem to be judging it based on the idea that it's serious. To me, it seems obvious that this game was made as a joke/to mock existing games. I'm not saying this game is the best game ever, but as a flash game to entertain me for a few minutes and give me a laugh, I'd definitely say that it's a really good game.
On an unrelated note, would all who read this please note: It REALLY helps others if you use punctuation, capitalization, and/or a spell checker. Thank you.
